The Jakarta Provincial Government holds the Jakarta Tangguh Exhibition in the parking area of a shopping center in the Besi Bridge area, Tambora, West Jakarta, Saturday (6/15). The event was opened by Jakarta BPBD Chief Executive, Isnawa Aji.

This is part of a series of celebrations commemorating Jakarta's 597th anniversary

The event, which carries the theme "Joint Action to Make Jakarta a Disaster Resilient Global City", showcases supporting facilities for disaster management, starting from public kitchens, ambulances, heavy equipment vehicles, fire trucks, as well as health posts and so forth.

Jakarta Social Agency Head, Premi Lasari added his party took part in this exhibition because it has an important role in disaster management, both before the incident, during the incident, and after the incident.

"Before a disaster occurs, we conduct risk mitigation together with BPBD. What kind of disaster will occur? Then, when a disaster occurs, what do we do after the disaster, we still have a lot of roles to play," he explained.
